It’s really taking shape now. The kitchen and living room walls are now taller than me. And we’ve started chinking, though there’s a long way to go. We’ll add a light plaster to protect the bags from UV damage soon. Here are a few of the latest pics of our progress… Not bad for a couple of months and two city kids with no real building experience.

Hello, May I ask if the tanks that are supported are used for you’re drinking water needs or for Gardening purposes or perhaps both? Thank you, Augie
Again, Very nice work.
Augie, the tanks are old fuel tanks left behind by the previous owner. I suspect we’ll dispose of them eventually. We do plan on using elevated cisterns for water down the road but haven’t gotten that far along yet.
